If you’re going to portray a brooding witch in a scene, then you need something for her to make her witch’s brew in, and what better than a three-legged cauldron like this one. It can be set directly over a fake fire lighting prop on the three legs, or it can be hung from a brace to let your dark lady of the arcane stir her cauldron of evil intentions, without having to stoop over and get a sore back!
A Pioneer’s Best Friend
The truth is this 3 Legged cauldron prop is good for more than just witches who need to stir up a nasty brew or a magical potion. On the Oregon Trail many of the pioneers who were trying to tame the wild frontier had cast iron “Dutch Ovens” that looked very much like this cauldron prop. They could be used to make hearty stews and fry breads as well as baking simple biscuits. Just bear in mind that this 3 Legged Cauldron is not made from real metal. It needs to be placed over a prop fire, not real open flame!
