Of all the reptilians, the vivid iguana is arguably the most popular pet. Sure snakes have their appeal for some, but an iguana isn’t going to bite your face with neurotoxic venom or constrict your cat before swallowing it whole. At the same time, an iguana is more visually recognizable than say a Madagascar chameleon or even a bearded dragon. So, it only makes sense to put a replica in your science lab scene.

So Real It Almost Looks Fake

The designers of this Iguana Specimen Jar really went all out to create a replica of a natural green iguana. It isn’t just some random rubber lizard. The scales look real and even the black tip on the tail looks like it could break off to aid an escape from predator. All inserted carefully into a prop jar in the same sort of awkward angle you would expect a natural iguana to be in when forced into capture.
